Sedgefield Primary School

  1. Parents' Info

Parents

At Sedgefield Primary, we recognise the crucial and valuable role that parents play in the education of their children. Parents are the primary educators of their children, and have a vital role to play in the partnership between home and school. We rely heavily on their support and co-operation with effective communication between home and school being crucial to the ongoing development and educational success of all our pupils.

This section of our website provides parents and carers with useful information if you are considering our school or have a child who is a pupil at our school.  If you require further information about any of the items shown in this section, please contact the school and we will do our best to help.

There are many ways to get involved with school such as coming to our special lunches, assemblies, performances, sports events, open afternoons or even helping in school listening to children read or helping with art projects.  The Parents Teachers and Friends Association (PTFA) is always delighted to welcome new members too.
